The 5th Peru-Colombia Binational Cabinet takes place in the eastern rainforest city of Pucallpa.
The meeting addresses five thematic axes: social issues and governance; environmental and mining-energy issues; trade, economic development, and tourism; security and defense; as well as border and migratory issues.
It must be noted Binational Cabinets constitute a mechanism for political dialogue between two nations with the purpose of working on specific issues of common concern included in the bilateral agenda.
