Álvarez Miranda also emphasized that, during the "government of transition and national reconciliation" led by President Jose Jeri, Peru will strengthen its strategic relations with allied countries and, in particular, with its two main trading partners: China and the United States, to boost investment.
In the case of Peru, he indicated that progress will be made in negotiations regarding its current tariff policy.
He also announced that trade negotiations with India, El Salvador, and the United Arab Emirates will be strengthened in 2026.
