Peru ranked as Latin America's top country for international reputation, placing 25th worldwide in the RepCore Nations 2026 ranking by Reputation Lab.
With this result, Peru not only topped the regional list but also became the only Latin American country to rank among the world's 30 most highly regarded economies.
After Peru, the highest-ranked Latin American nations were Brazil (31st), Chile (33rd), Argentina (36th), Mexico (41st) and Colombia (50th), all among the globe's 50 economies with the best international reputation.

The study places Peru in the "moderate reputation" category, reflecting a positive assessment, albeit with room for improvement.
Globally, Japan topped the ranking for the first time after climbing seven positions from the previous edition.
The top 10 also included Canada, Switzerland, Australia, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Finland, New Zealand and Sweden, which stand out for their institutional stability, quality of life, and international trust.
