Peruvian textile exports totaled US$103 million in November 2017, a 9.6% increase from the similar month the previous year, Central Reserve Bank (BCR) reported Tuesday.
Thus, this positive result marks the sixth month of continuous growth.
According to the issuing entity, higher shipments to
Asia (129.9%),
Mercosur (26.2%), North America (10.3%) —mainly the United States—, and the
European Union (9.0%) were registered in the analyzed month.
Likewise, BCR pointed out the shipped volume of
textile products rose 6.7% last November, thus marking five straight months of growth.
