Peru strengthens its Government General Policy in terms of foreign policy by incorporating Axis 10, "Conduct of a reinforced foreign policy at the service of Peru's permanent interests," as proposed by the
Via
Supreme Decree No. 075-2024-PCM published on Thursday, the Government General Policy for the current presidential term was modified.
This Axis, which consists of five guidelines, was included.
The second is "to incorporate technologies at the service of Peruvian communities abroad and to promote, at regional and global levels, a joint and pragmatic response for safe, orderly, and regular migration."
The third added guideline is "to protect and promote Peru's interests and rights in the Antarctic region, strengthening the participation and compliance with the commitments of the Peruvian State, within the framework of the Antarctic Treaty System, aimed at ensuring peace and cooperation on that continent."
It is important to note that the Government's General Policy for the current presidential mandate includes 10 axes and their respective guidelines, which direct the development and updating of national policies, plans, and government interventions.
They are also in accordance with Peruvian State Policies, the Strategic Plan for National Development, and the Vision of Peru to 2050.
