Peru: Stephen Yuri Haas Del Carpio appointed Ambassador to France

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Stephen Yuri Haas Del Carpio as Peru's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the French Republic.

The measure was officialized through Supreme Resolution No. 175-2025-RE, published in the Legal Regulations Bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano on Wednesday.

Haas Del Carpio is to be granted the corresponding letters of credence and full powers.

The regulation specifies that the date on which he is to take up duties will be set by ministerial resolution.

Also, through Supreme Resolution No. 174-2025-RE, the duties of Ambassador in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic, Rolando Javier Ruiz Rosas Cateriano, as Peru's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the French Republic and to the Principality of Monaco, are terminated.

Likewise, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs terminated the duties of Ambassador in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic, Roberto Hernan Seminario Portocarrero, as Peru's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Japan and as Permanent Representative to the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), with residence in Tokyo.

This was established through Supreme Resolution No. 176-2025-RE, published in the Legal Regulations Bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano.

The regulation provides for the cancellation of the letters of credence and full powers. It also expresses gratitude to Ambassador Seminario Portocarrero for the important services rendered to the Nation in the performance of his duties.

All Supreme Resolutions bear the signature of the President of the Republic, Jose Enrique Jeri Ore, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hugo Claudio de Zela Martinez.
