Ministers Paola Lazarte (Transport and Communications), Eduardo Garcia (Labor and Employment Promotion), and Oscar Vera (Energy and Mines) created a space for dialogue with representatives of the people of Chala (Arequipa region), so as to find a solution to their demands and to unblock roads.

"Three ministers have come to Chala with the intention of creating a space for dialogue to listen to the population's demands and provide a timely solution, so that we can unblock roads and start working together and, above all, in peace," the head of the Transport and Communications sector explained.

Minister Lazarte remarked that the Arequipa airport has been reopened, adding that 20 flights are scheduled for today, December 19.

"This shows that we are working to restore public order and peace. The reopening of Juliaca and Ayacucho airports is scheduled for tomorrow," the government official added.

State ministers are traveling to various regions across the country to establish channels of dialogue, as well as to restore tranquility and peace throughout the country.
