signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a Political Consultations Mechanism between the two countries' Foreign Affairs Ministries.
The mechanism will enable regular high-level meetings aimed at dynamizing bilateral relations, as well as exchanging views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Likewise, the Governments of Peru and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines agreed to deepen their ties by strengthening political dialogue, cooperation, and integration.
In this regard, both countries seek to jointly address challenges related to combating transnational organized crime, disaster resilience, and sustainable development.
Proposal
During the meeting, Minister Espa presented his counterpart with a proposal for a Technical Cooperation Framework Agreement, aimed at advancing the establishment of an institutional framework for bilateral collaboration.
These actions are part of Peru's policy of strengthening its presence in the non-Spanish-speaking Caribbean, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
