Peru has signed an amendment to the manufacture and supply agreement with Pfizer pharmaceutical company with the aim of acquiring 35 million vaccine doses against COVID-19 in 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported.

This accord is the outcome of talks held between Pfizer and the Peruvian Health Ministry, supported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry

In this sense, it strengthened Peru's partnership with said laboratory in order to continue receiving this high-quality vaccine next year.

The signing of the amendment ensures the supply of 35 million additional doses, so that these can be administered within the framework of the National Vaccination Plan.

Likewise, it reflects the Peruvian Government's commitment to ensuring the supply of doses against COVID-19 to put an end to the pandemic.
