Members of the Peruvian Diplomatic Service and diplomatic corps accredited to the country came together to celebrate the opening of a pictorial, documentary exhibition held on the sideline of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Romania.

The display, which runs until October 20 at the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s headquarters in Lima, Peru, features many original historical documents such as the September 30, 1939 telegram, in which the Peruvian government reported Romania on the designation of diplomat Joseph Gambetta as the country’s first Charge d'Affaires to Bucharest.
