Peru's Prime Minister Anibal Torres on Monday morning arrived in Chivay, a district of Caylloma Province in the Andean region of Arequipa, to hold a working meeting with local authorities and leaders.
During his visit, Mr. Torrres is accompanied by a delegation of officials from the Executive Branch.
The meeting, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., will address issues of territorial development in the province of Caylloma.
In this context, three round tables will be held with the participation of civil organizations across the province.
The aforementioned round tables will review Addendum 13 of the Majes-Siguas II project, the distribution of 30% of land in the Majes Siguas II project area for the premises, and the signing of a framework agreement with mining companies operating in the jurisdiction.
