Peru: President Vizcarra's approval rating up 13 points

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra's approval rating increased 13 percentage points, from 45% to 58%, the latest Datum poll revealed Thursday.

In Lima and Callao, the approval rating increased to 63%, while it reached 57% in the north, 64% in the center, 46% in the south, and 55% in eastern regions. 

Salvador del Solar 

Likewise, the approval rating for Prime Minister Salvador del Solar rose to 48%, thus increasing 11 points compared to a previous survey. 

Political reform 

Concerning the political reform, 58% of respondents expressed they believe Congress should approve these changes submitted by the Executive Branch.

In this sense, 63% indicated they agree with the introduction of a confidence motion, while 58% pointed out they agree with the delivery of the confidence vote

Furthermore, 57% think it would be positive for the Inca country.
