The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday visited Mongrut Village Isolation Center, which belongs to Octavio Mongrut Hospital located in Lima's San Miguel district.
The establishment houses 834 beds, which will be occupied by patients who require oxygen-therapy treatment.
The corresponding coverage will benefit insured and uninsured patients residing in Lima and Callao.
On this occasion, the President was joined by Health Minister Victor Zamora and Social Health Insurance System (EsSalud) Executive-President Fiorella Molinelli.
Tuesday marks the seventy-second day of mandatory social isolation.
