Peru: President supervises planning system for COVID-19 vaccination

The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti on Wednesday oversaw the Planning, Control, and Monitoring System for Vaccination against COVID-19 from the Peruvian Air Force's Command Post in Lima.

During his visit, the Head of State received information on the progress of the immunization of health personnel, who have so far exceeded 303,000.

The top official also verified in real time the flight that brought the first batch of 50,000 Pfizer doses to Lima.

The President was joined by Defense Minister Nuria Esparch, the General Commander of the Peruvian Air Force Rodolfo Pereyra, and the Technical Secretary of the Working Group that supports the implementation of the vaccination process against COVID-19, Carlos Neuhaus.
