The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra arrived in the southern city of Arequipa on Friday to participate in the supervision of the new services offered by the Productive Innovation and Agroindustrial Technological Transfer Center (CITE) on Camelid Textiles.
While touring the various booths, the Head of State talked with the exhibitors of products —made from natural fibers— and with training experts of this textile innovation center.

CITE is an institution that promotes innovation and the use of new technologies among producers, companies, associations, and cooperatives. It is the strategic partner to generate added value.
Previously, the top official inspected the area where the Yanapujio Dam will be built —in his hometown region of Moquegua.
President Vizcarra was joined by Production Minister Rocio Barrios at the CITE event.
