The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti arrived in Tacna on Thursday morning to work with authorities of the southern region on a joint agenda including issues such as the fight against COVID-19, job creation, and economic reactivation.
Today, the Head of State is expected to hold a meeting with region Governor Juan Tonconi and local authorities.
Likewise, the top official will supervise projects for the creation of jobs and border security infrastructure, with the aim of improving productivity in the area.
On this occasion, President Sagasti is joined by the ministers of Production, Interior, and Labor.
