Peru: President receives credentials from U.S. Ambassador

The President of the Republic, Jose Jeri, received the letters of credence from the Ambassador of the United States of America, Bernardo Navarro.

This event was held at the Government Palace in Lima on Tuesday.

Upon his arrival at the Executive Branch headquarters, the new U.S. ambassador was received with the corresponding honors.

The Peruvian Head of State was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Hugo de Zela during the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Navarro Carbonell was joined by U.S. Embassy Chargé d'Affaires Joan Perkins.
