Peru: President participates in establishment of roundtable in La Leche River basin

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo is taking part in the establishment of a roundtable to address the social problems caused by floods in the area of La Leche River basin.

The activity takes place at Alfredo Paz Solis Park located in Pacora district of Lambayeque region.

Later, at 1:00 p.m. (local time) —upon his return to Lima— the Head of State will participate at the Fourth Peru-European Union Forum: Sustainable Investment for Inclusive Development to be held in the district of San Isidro.

Afterwards, at 4:00 p.m., the dignitary will hold a meeting with members of the Social Protection and Assistance Fund – Law No. 10674, which establishes the protection of the State for all street vendors of newspapers and magazines, as well as lottery ticket sellers (canillitas).

The event will take place at the Government Palace's Courtyard of Honor in Lima.
