The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Tuesday morning participated in the 14th Gore-Executive Branch meeting, which brings together authorities from Peruvian regions and the Central Government.

The meeting takes place at Lima Convention Center. It sees the presence of Cabinet Chief Guido Bellido and other State ministers.

This is the first day of meetings of this type held during President Castillo's administration. The previous edition took place last February.

At this session, the Prime Minister launched the Intergovernmental Coordination Council (ICC).

The Gore-Executive mechanism aims to intensify links between regional government bodies and the Central Government, through meetings uniting governors and their advisers with Cabinet representatives.

Its thematic axes are the unlocking of investments, the streamlining of regulations, and the development of regional agendas.
