Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski supervised final assembly works of a Bailey bridge to be set up at Ramiro Priale Highway, in replacement of a bridge destroyed by Huaycoloro River's overflow last week.

As is known, the said river burst its banks last Tuesday, affecting close to 200 families in Lima province's eastern area.

The new 42-meter-long structure will enable to resume vehicle transit in the busy route this week.

The activity took place this morning at km 4.5 of Ramiro Priale Highway.

The Head of State was joined by Transport and Communications Minister Martin Vizcarra and Lima Mayor Luis Castañeda.
