Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Friday held meetings with Presidents Pedro Sanchez (Spain) and Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa (Portugal).

During the gathering, the top official reaffirmed the Inca country's interest in continuing strengthening the traditional and close ties of friendship, understanding, and cooperation uniting the two nations.
Portugal
On the other hand, the statesman indicated Peru intends to keep reinforcing cooperation on education, tourism, as well as science and technology, with the Portuguese nation.
The Presidents participated in the Summit running under the slogan "A thriving, inclusive, and sustainable Ibero-America."
The Summit —held annually since 1991— is the Ibero-American Conference's highest decision-making body, convening Heads of State and Government of 22 nations.
