Within this framework, the Head of State reaffirmed the Government's support for the mission members, who will contribute to the strengthening of democracy and transparency in the presidential runoff election on June 6.
Today's meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief of the OAS Electoral Observation Mission Gerardo Sanchez; the Director of the Department of Electoral Cooperation and Observation at OAS Gerardo de Icaza; and OAS representative in Peru Miguel Trinidad.
The event was held at the Government Palace in Lima.
