met with mayors from Apurimac and Ayacucho regions to coordinate the strengthening of projects of various types, linked to development topics.
Said projects have to do with the following sectors: education, agrarian infrastructure, health, sanitation, and roads, among others.
The Head of State told the authorities present at said event that progress is being made on the plan to deal with frosts in Peru's Andean zones and to provide timely attention to the populations affected by them.
Similarly, the top official expressed to the attending mayors the Executive Branch's commitment to work jointly with them.
Technical teams
The President and the mayors were accompanied by technical teams from various ministers and specialized entities such as the National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci).
Representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, as well as of the Ministries of Labor, Production, Housing, Agrarian Development-Irrigation, Transportation-Communications, Economy-Finance, and Education also participated in this event.
