Peru: President meets with APEC Business Advisory Council

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo held an audience with Peruvian Chapter members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory Council (ABAC Peru) on Monday.

"Today, I met with members of the Peruvian Chapter of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC Peru), with whom we plan to carry out a joint action by presiding over the APEC Forum in 2024," Mr. Castillo recalled on his verified Twitter account after the gathering.

The Head of State mentioned that they had also talked about the importance of inclusive and sustainable growth.


"From the Government we say yes to investments, yes to trade, but with inclusion, which leads to development for the benefit of all Peruvians," he emphasized.

Participating in the event were Ministers Cesar Landa (Foreign Affairs)Roberto Sanchez (Foreign Trade-Tourism), and APEC-Specialized Forums Director Jorge Reyes, among other guests.

This meeting was held at the Government Palace in Lima.



This event also took place at the Executive Branch headquarters.
