Peru President leads executive branch-mayors meeting

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Monday morning participated in a work meeting between the Executive Branch and the Association of Municipalities of Peru (AMPE) board members.

The event was attended by Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos, Economy-Finance Minister María Antonieta Alva, Comptroller-General Nelson Shack, and AMPE Head Alvaro Paz de La Barra, among others.

It took place at the Economy and Finance Ministry (MEF) headquarters in Lima.

Last week, President Vizcarra held the first meeting of the year with AMPE board members in order to coordinate mechanisms that will boost public investment and unlock other investments through the efficient use of resources.
