The
on Wednesday led the 10th Decentralized Council of Ministers in Tumbes —a region in the north of the country.
The meeting took place at Palacio de los Deportes (Palace of Sports) Coliseum. It was attended by State ministers, legislators from Tumbes, regional and local authorities, in addition to civil society representatives.
The purpose of this session was to prepare the territorial development agenda for Tumbes region so as to benefit more than 240,000 inhabitants.
Within this framework, State ministers of different sectors announced the Government actions in favor of Tumbes.
The closing event was in charge of the Head of State.
This was the
10th edition of the Decentralized Council of Ministers led by the Government in order to shape a development agenda for regions, aimed at closing gaps and boosting decentralized development in the country —in dialogue with authorities and representatives of civil society.
Similar sessions were previously held in the following regions: Cusco, Junin, Ica, Huancavelica, Ucayali, Puno, Moquegua, among others.
