Peru: President leads Council of Ministers session

The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra led a new session of the Council of Ministers at the Government Palace on Wednesday.

Later, the Executive Branch will inform citizens about the measures implemented due to the national state of emergency at times of coronavirus.

Last Tuesday, the Head of State announced that the Council of Ministers would assess the topics on which the Government will request powers from Congress for the progress of the decisions made.

Wednesday marks the tenth day of the

15-day mandatory social isolation decreed by the Vizcarra administration to prevent the COVID-19 from further spreading in Peru.
