The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Tuesday led the 15th Decentralized Council of Ministers in Yauyos to listen to the main needs of local authorities and for them to articulate efforts with the Executive Branch.

At the beginning of the session, the Head of State stressed that Yauyos has great potential in water sources, in addition to its agricultural potential. Thus, he said there is a lot to do along with the people from the countryside.

"We have to find out what we need and how to direct the work. Brothers, there is no other space than the space of the people and that means coming here where your needs are," he said in his opening speech.

Precisely, the objective of this event was to meet the demands of residents and authorities to work on a territorial development agenda that allows the closing of social gaps in said region, which has more than 900,000 inhabitants.

In addition, representatives of various social organizations and sectors announced the work and actions carried out by their portfolios in favor of the development of Lima region and its population.
