Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Tuesday participated in the National Police Academy's 2016-year closing ceremony.
The event included class of 2016's commissioning, during which the Head of State administered the oath of honor to 395 graduating recruits.
Mr. Kuczynski congratulated them on completing their training and wished them success in their careers.
Likewise, the statesman called upon all sectors of society to support the National Police, so it will enhance its institutional capabilities.
He also referred to the unfortunate car accident that killed twelve law enforcement officers this morning in Southern Apurimac region and called for a minute of silence in their honor.
The event was held at the institution's headquarters in Lima's Chorrillos district.
