Peru: President Jeri meets with State branch representatives

The new President of the Republic, Jose Jeri Ore, held a meeting with representatives of Peruvian State branches, including the Judiciary and Congress, as well as the Public Ministry, an autonomous constitutional body.

The event took place at the Government Palace in Lima on Friday evening, as reported by the Presidential Office on X.

This session included the presence of Judiciary Chairwoman Janet Tello, Congress' Third Vice Chairman Illich Lopez, and Attorney General Tomas Galvez.

The meeting aimed to reaffirm the agreements established at the last multisectoral roundtable on security, specifically regarding the strengthening of flagrancy units to ensure a more efficient and coordinated response to crime.

Following the gathering, the authorities left the Executive Branch headquarters without making any statements to the media.
