Peru President holds phone conversation with Japan Prime Minister

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra spoke with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Tuesday.

Within this framework, the leaders discussed the efforts undertaken by both nations to face the new coronavirus (covid-19).

During the phone conversation, the Japanese prime minister saluted the Peruvian Government's leadership in the fight against the pandemic.

Likewise, he expressed his willingness to provide cooperation in health matters.

Both dignitaries also agreed on exchanging experiences and researching treatments to cope with the disease.
