Peru: President heads recognition ceremony for athletes who competed at Paris 2024

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Wednesday led the recognition ceremony for Peruvian athletes who participated at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

On this occasion, the Head of State was accompanied by Education Minister Morgan Quero; Peruvian Sports Institute Chairman Federico Tong; and Peruvian Olympic Committee Head, Renzo Manyari.

During the ceremony, Peruvian Olympic sailor Stefano Peschiera was awarded US$40,000 as an incentive due to his bronze medal won at the latest edition of the Olympics.

Today's event took place at the National Stadium in downtown Lima. It was also attended by sports authorities.
