on Thursday participated in the launch of the "Mar de Oportunidades" (Sea of Opportunities) cookbook, an initiative aimed at promoting the consumption of alternative fish species and diversifying food options for Peruvian families.
The cookbook was presented aboard the Humboldt Scientific Research Vessel.
It features recipes made with hydrobiological resources whose availability could temporarily increase due to oceanographic changes associated with El Niño phenomenon.
The launch event, attended by Production Minister Juan Carlos Requejo, presented a variety of recipes offering nutritious, affordable, and diverse food options.
