President Martin Vizcarra on Thursday led the enactment ceremony of State-run agricultural bank Agrobanco Strengthening Law.
This bill, which reinforces Agrobanco, establishes the creation of a fund intended for small-scale farmers' financial inclusion.
The Agriculture and Irrigation Ministry (Minagri) will be in charge of such fund, which will rely on an initial amount of S/100 million (around US$29.68 million). Plus, donations and transfers can be added to it.
The ceremony took place at Lima-based Government Palace.
