on Wednesday urged mayors to foster sustainable development in their districts and provide solutions for the problems faced by their people.
At the same time, the Head of State told them that hers is an honest government, with doors open to dialogue and engage in coordination so as to deal with challenges linked to social inclusion and closing of gaps.
"I urge mayors to foster sustainable development in their districts and provide solutions in their towns. We are an honest government, with open doors to dialogue, engage in coordination, and support you in everything you need in order to remain firm in the objectives of development, social inclusion, and closing of gaps," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.
"Joined by regional and local governments, as one single fist, we will move the country forward, which needs us united to reactivate the economy, citizen security, and boost progress," she added.
The top official also specified that all regional and local governments will rely on a greater budget in 2024 compared to previous years.
