President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Sunday morning cast his vote at Educational Institution No. 101069 in Tacabamba district, Chota province, Cajamarca region —within the framework of the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections.
The Head of State arrived at the polling station minutes before 9:00 a.m. (local time).

More than 24 million Peruvians are eligible
to elect 13,032 authorities in 25 regions, 196 provincial municipalities, and 1,694 district municipalities throughout the country.
