on Saturday participated in the launch of "Carnaval Abanquino" (Abancay Carnival).
This carnival is held every year in Apurimac region.
Today's event took place at the Government Palace Courtyard of Honor in Lima.
It also saw the presence of Abancay Mayor Nestor Peña; Ministers Juan Carlos Mathews (Foreign Trade-Tourism) and Leslie Urteaga (Culture); as well of regional and local authorities.
