The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Wednesday morning oversaw the installation of the Crisis Monitoring and Control Center.

The event took place at the Defense Ministry headquarters in Lima's Jesus Maria district.

Within this framework, Defense Minister Jorge Chavez Cresta gave an explanation of the work carried out in said center where every Peruvian region is monitored.

The Head of State affirmed that, joined by Cabinet Chief Alberto Otarola and the Defense Minister, she visited said headquarters to observe the work done —an effort that "does not stop."

"I would like today's information to be submitted to us in the shortest possible time so that we can verify how the country is evolving, not only because of the protests but also because of the rains that are taking place, which cause landslides," she expressed.

Similarly, Mrs. Boluarte thanked each of the Crisis Monitoring and Control Center officials for their work.
