The
President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Monday met with National Society of Industries Chairman Jesus Salazar and the textile-clothing industry sector's representatives of the Gamarra emporium and the country.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the situation of micro and small-sized enterprises (MSEs), as well as employment generation in Peru.
Participants also addressed issues such as imports, the Compras a MyPeru program (a government-led initiative for stimulating production by micro and small-sized enterprises-MSEs), and the development of the textile-clothing industry sector to boost the country's economy.
The activity took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
