met with Lambayeque Region Governor Jorge Luis Perez and mayors of said northern jurisdiction to evaluate investment projects linked to public infrastructure, basic sanitation, health services, and prevention works against El Niño phenomenon.
"We will attend to prevention with the corresponding firmness," Mrs. Boluarte said after indicating that the Executive Branch allocated resources for the execution of public works in regions.
At the meeting, it was also agreed to set up working groups with the aim of addressing priority issues for the northern region.
The meeting was attended by Congresswoman Marleny Portero as well.
