held a meeting with Arequipa Region Governor Rohel Sanchez, as well as with province and district mayors of said jurisdiction, to discuss issues related to citizen security and public investment projects.

During this gathering, the Head of State reaffirmed that her administration will deliver machinery to Arequipa provincial municipalities for the cleaning up and desilting of rivers.
Likewise, the top official emphasized that ministries will follow up on the agreements reached at this meeting.
At the end of this session, inter-institutional cooperation agreements were signed by the municipalities of Tiabaya, Islay, and the Interior Ministry to enhance the conditions of said jurisdictions' police stations and the fight against crime.
Ministers Vicente Romero (Interior), Hania Perez de Cuellar (Housing, Construction, and Sanitation), and Ana Maria Choquehuanca (Production) also participated in the gathering.
This event was held at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
