Peru: President Boluarte leads Citizen Security Council session

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte led the 3rd and 4th ordinary session of the National Citizen Security Council (Conasec) on Wednesday.

This official activity, which was announced via the Presidential Office social media channels, took place in the city of Pucallpa, Ucayali region.

On this occasion, the Head of State was joined by Prime Minister Alberto Otarola and other Cabinet members.

The Conasec is responsible for formulating, conducting, and evaluating policies, plans, and activities on public safety at the national level, with the active participation of State-run agencies, local governments, and the organized community.

This is in order to guarantee the full exercise of the rights enshrined in the Political Constitution of Peru, as well as a peaceful coexistence.
