The
on Saturday morning started the government's response to emergency linked to heavy rains in northern Peru.
The Head of State arrived at Puerto Pizarro population center (Tumbes region), where she addressed the population indicating that machinery will soon be deployed to attend to the emergency.
"We are coming with humanitarian aid in this effort articulated with private companies, since the (Peruvian) State does not have enough machinery to attend to this situation at the national level," she indicated.
Similarly, the top official announced that, as a government policy, work is being done to provide each province municipality with "a pack of machinery nationwide so that they can face this crisis situation emerged due to natural phenomena."
Likewise, Mrs. Boluarte delivered humanitarian aid to Tumbes Region Government.
During her visit to Corrales district, the President stated that the Government makes two helicopters available to transport the affected families. Besides, this region received at least 400 tons of humanitarian aid for the affected population.
Afterwards, the Head of State will travel to Piura, Lambayeque, and La Libertad regions —also in northern Peru.
