The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Friday called on regional and local authorities to work together so as to meet the Peruvian population's needs.

The Head of State said that, although some of her remarks could have been misinterpreted, her intention is to work in unity as required by the nation.

"(…) I once again call on all regional and local authorities; let us continue working to meet the needs of our peoples. The country, the homeland, belongs to everyone, and they need us," she expressed from the Government Palace Courtyard of Honor joined by Cabinet Chief Alberto Otarola and Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi.

After receiving the representatives of Partido Regionalista (Regionalist Party) and Frente de la Esperanza 2021 (Front of Hope 2021), Mrs. Boluarte thanked parties for their participation in the dialogue rounds held to get out of the political crisis together.

The top official said her administration has met with nine political groups to date, adding that, as democrats, they have dialogued despite having different positions.

Similarly, the Head of State addressed the Chosica area population, affected by landslides, and indicated that "you are not alone."

In this sense, she guaranteed attention and support to that area of the country.
