has accepted the resignation of Rosa Gutierrez from the post of Health Minister.
The Presidency of the Republic made the announcement via Twitter on Thursday night.
Within this framework, the country's top official thanked Gutierrez for her work.
Precisely, Gutierrez announced at Congress that she had tendered her resignation letter. The resigning minister also emphasized that she had worked honestly.
"The President reiterated the commitment of this Government to redouble all efforts aimed at bringing (high) quality health care (services) closer to the entire Peruvian population," read the tweet.
"That is our commitment to Peru," it concluded.
