The
President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday participated in the ceremony commemorating the 12th anniversary of the
Pacific Alliance.
The event took place at the Great Dining Room of the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima. The regional bloc —established on April 28, 2011— is made up of Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.
Also attending were Mexico's former President Felipe Calderon, plus former Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Chile and Peru, Alfredo Moreno and Jose Antonio Garcia Belaunde, respectively.
Likewise, the meeting featured the head of the Foreign Affairs sector in Peru,
Ana Cecilia Gervasi.
President Boluarte's agenda kicked off at 9 a.m. with her participation in the launching ceremony for the "Coalition for a Circular Economy in the Manufacturing Industry" Project.
Said event was held at the National Society of Industries (SNI) headquarters in Lima's San Isidro district.
Later, the Head of State will take part in the closing ceremony of the roundtable for peace and governance, titled "Con Punche Regional – Lima."
The above-mentioned activity will take place at the Lima Convention Center located in the Peruvian capital's San Borja district.
