President Martin Vizcarra on Friday led the ceremony marking the Armed Forces Day.
The military event took place at the Army headquarters in the Peruvian capital Lima.
Upon arrival, the Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces reviewed the troops alongside Defense Minister Jose Huerta.
Military institutions' high command members, lawmakers, as well as civic figures and authorities attended the ceremony.
