Peru President addresses the nation on coronavirus

President Martin Vizcarra currently addresses the Nation about the measures implemented by his administration during the last 100 days and the state of coronavirus in Peru

Remarks are made in a televised press conference within the framework of a mandatory social isolation imposed to prevent the COVID-19 from further spreading in the South American country.

Initially set to last from March 16 to 30, the quarantine was extended until June 30.

On this occasion, the President is joined by members of the Council of Ministers. The event is held at the Government Palace in Lima.

Wednesday marks the one-hundred-first day of mandatory social isolation in Peru.
