The Presidency of the Republic extended greetings to teachers on their day and recognized the importance of their work in shaping Peru's children and youth.

"Today, we recognize those who, with dedication, patience, and vocation, shape the children and young people who will build Peru's future. Every lesson, every piece of advice, and every effort in the classroom sow values, knowledge, and hope for a country with more opportunities," the Presidential Office stated on X.

"Thank you for transforming lives and inspiring new generations! Happy Teacher's Day!" it added.

Furthermore, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) dedicated a message to Peruvian educators.

"We are united by the stories we learn, the values we share, and the people who inspire us to give our best. Today, we celebrate those who make all of that possible: our female and male teachers," the entity said.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education (Minedu)—as the governing body—paid tribute to this group of professionals on their day with an emotional video.

"We all remember that teacher who believed in us before we believed in ourselves. The one who saw us stumble and extended a hand. The one who discovered talents we did not even know we had and told us: ‘You can do it.’ Because a teacher does not just teach subjects; they inspire dreams, sow the future, and transform lives with heart. Happy Teacher's Day, Teachers of the Heart!" it posted on X.

Teacher's Day is celebrated in Peru on July 6 every year.

The date was chosen to commemorate the founding of the Primera Escuela Nacional de Preceptores (First National School for Teachers) in 1822.
