The President of the Council of Ministers Vicente Zeballos on Monday highlighted the start of the school year through the
distance learning program Aprendo en Casa (I Learn at Home), aimed at ensuring the educational process throughout the country amid the coronavirus health emergency.
In a message broadcast on his social networks, Zeballos affirmed that the Executive Branch keeps working to provide basic services to Peruvians during the COVID-19 emergency.
The start of the school year under distance learning conditions is aimed at public school students who will be reached through digital, television, and radio platforms.
The
Aprendo en Casa online platform —containing classes for pre-school, primary, high school and special basic education students— has been operating since Sunday.
The educational programs —prepared by the Ministry of Education— will be broadcast by
TV Peru and
Canal IPe, as well as by 335 radio stations throughout the country.
